Can you elaborate on the interaction for college credits and the interaction with CCCC? What are accreditations and expectations for transferring these credits into 4-year universities (E.G. ABET accreditation and guaranteed transfer to TX state schools).
Public universities in Tx take the CCCC courses. Some of the private schools and out of state schools do as well. To find out for certain about a particular institution, contact the admissions office at the university and they should be able to tell you if they take CCCC courses and which ones as well as AP credit.

Regarding course selection for middle school learners, can my child attend any middle school in the district based on the courses offered and selected?
For the most part, courses are standardized across the campuses; therefore we don’t allow transfers from campus to campus.

Regarding course selection for middle school learners, are the courses standardized across all middle schools, or does each middle school offer different courses?
For the most part, courses are standardized across the campuses. We do have some variances at the high school in which we transport students to the other campus to engage in the course not offered on their campus.

Are there middle school tracks that are mutually exclusive? For example, does a learner have to choose STEM or music and can’t do both?
We encourage our students to try out a variety of tracks. That being said, there are only so many elective slots in their schedule. Make sure to visit with your student’s counselor for specific questions about tracks and course options.
