Advanced Academics

  • The Prosper ISD Department of Advanced Academics is part of the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. It includes Advanced Placement, Honors, Dual Credit courses, and the Gifted and Talented program. 

    In order to prepare students for the career fields that may or may not yet currently exist, Prosper ISD provides opportunities for students to:

    • develop strong habits of mind. 
    • embrace challenge. 
    • work both collaboratively and independently.
    • be creative problem solvers and innovative thinkers. 
    • develop humane instincts and disciplined minds. 

    Prosper ISD offers a wide range of advanced academic opportunities for students to enrich their learning, follow their interests, and meet their personal goals.
