Our staff at Folsom are incredible educators dedicated to always growing in their skills. Today we had presentations from educators to educators for professional learning. Great ideas were shared to help us all continue to improve how we move mountains together for our students!
✨ Today, PCIS students from Walnut Grove High School wowed the Prosper Education Foundation Board with their presentations! 🙌🎓 PCIS gives juniors and seniors the chance to dive into a career they’re passionate about, work with mentors, and build valuable skills. 💡 These experiences all lead up to their final portfolios and end-of-year showcases! 📚

Thank you to our Folsom parents who came to our second Pastries with the Principal. We are so appreciative of your questions, feedback, and support of our school. Also thank you to our PTO President, Mrs. Bley, for helping us plan for our event and listening circle!
Our guiding coalition met last week to continue the work of supporting our all of our teacher teams so that we can better collaborate on the best learning outcomes for our students. Also pictured: House of Empathy recess, lunch connections, and high engagement in social studies!
There was lots of reading and writing throughout the building today. Kindergarten journals, working on conjunctions and text features in second grade, and a Learning Lab with our district ELAR coordinator in third!
