Our Professional Learning Community at work! Teams have been spending time together analyzing data, planning instruction, adjusting instruction based on assessment results, creating systems for intervention, and more. Our teachers work hard to plan for each of our students.
We love our Folsom families. Just this week we got new recess equipment from PTO and treats donated to us. We also have a much-appreciated dad who has been directing traffic in the afternoons to help out our staff. Thank you, parents. We are grateful for your support and care💙

🎉✨For the 5th year in a row, Prosper ISD art teachers have earned the Texas Art Education Association District of Distinction! 🏅🎨 This prestigious honor celebrates our commitment to a well-rounded education that champions visual arts, sparks creativity, and fosters social-emotional learning 🌟. Only 94 districts met the high standard, placing us in the top 5.5% in art education statewide! 🏆👏 Huge congratulations to all our incredible art teachers across the district for this amazing achievement! 🎨🙌

ICYMI: The Rogers MS Yearbook Staff received special recognition at this week’s board meeting! Their yearbook was selected as one of just 14 in the nation to be included in the Jostens Book Bundle, out of thousands of entries. This honor highlights the staff’s creativity, relevant coverage, stunning photography and powerful storytelling. Huge congratulations to Mrs. Tokarczyk and the entire Rogers yearbook staff!
Today we enjoyed lunch with our new to Folsom students and handed out swag thanks to PTO! When asked what their favorite things about Folsom so far are, the most common answers were teachers, new friends, PE, library, and this lunch! Thank you Mrs. Winchester and Mr. Thompson!

We got to kick off all of the Walnut Grove fall sports teams at Meet the Wildcats! It was a great time celebrating all of the wonderful things happening at WGHS with the community. 🌟
Part of being FIERCE at Folsom is being encouraging. We certainly heard a lot of that happening in PE today! Lots of cheering each other on and having fun while learning cooperation and healthy habits.
