Our Bookfair is ONE week away! Did you know that all proceeds from the bookfair go back directly to the Boyer library? We use these funds to purchase new books, provide author visits for our students and buy fun Makerspace supplies for the library!

Boyer Elementary had a guest principal for the day on Friday! Mia was the top fundraiser for our Boosterthon so she got this fun honor. Principal Mia reported for duty alongside Mr. Bill. She did a great job fieldling many questions from staff members, making school announcements, handing out the Star Polisher Award, assisting with Future Eagle Storytime, sending kindergarten off on their fieldtrip and more! She may have a future in school administration!








We had a very successful first Friday of Genius Hour. Boyer students had fun going in different classrooms and doing an activity they chose. Students were seen drawing, playing games, making slime, doing calligraphy, painting kindness rocks, doing cheers and more. What a fun time!

*Ms. Lamb was born in Virginia and has been teaching for 14 years.
*Mrs. McElreath did her student teaching in Costa Rica.
*Ms. Ricks loves to travel and has been to 16 states so far.
*Ms. Schnagl has lived in three states and has subbed longer than she has taught.

Attention Preschool Parents of Future Boyer Students! Mrs. Henry is hosting monthly storytimes for you and your child! Our November storytime is tomorrow. We would love you to join us!

Ms. Miller's third grade class has reading books about dogs with jobs such as service, search and rescue, police and therapy dogs for their class research project. Who knew dogs did so much to help our community? Did you know there are even dogs who sniff out other animals' scat to help scientists learn more about those animal species? So cool!









Boyer kindergarten, first and second graders had a visit with author LaNesha Tabb this morning. She taught our students about the writing process, read one of her books and left us all feeling inspired to become authors! Thank you to the Boyer PTO for sponsoring this wonderful experience!

Boyer students wrapped up their bowling unit in PE with their first ever Glow Bowling Event. Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped make this day run smoothly and the to the PE coaches for setting up this fun activity! We for look forward to continuing this fun event yearly!

Mrs. Brown's Fourth Grade Social Studies classes are beginning to watercolor their murals depicting a Native American Tribe they have been studying. We can't wait to see the finished products!
Students in Miss. Camilleri’s 4th grade class had an absolute blast during Glow Math last week! They expanded their understanding of representing and interpreting data through hands-on, glowing activities that made learning come alive. Miss. Camilleri loved seeing her students shine bright as they explored math in fun and engaging ways!!!









Congratulations the winners of the Boyer Library Storybook Pumpkin Decorating Contest. We had 32 amazing pumpkins in our pumpkin patch! Way to go Boyer students!
