Students in Mrs. Honaker’s 4th grade class used Curipod to work on conjunctions in ELAR this week. They also worked on spending twenty minutes doing sacred reading time. Their goal was to do focused, diligent reading. We love to see this kind of learning in our school!




The Boyer Library has been busy with students making their first library book checkout of the school year the past few weeks!

Today we celebrate our amazing Student Support Staff. This team is made up of our ESL specialist, Dyslexia Therapists, Speech and Occupational Therapists, Reading Support Teachers, Instructional Coach, Librarians and 504 Coordinator. We are so thankful for their impact on our students.

Third Graders in Mrs. McClung's class used vertical boards to brainstorm book check out procedures. The sure had great ideas!









Ms. Miller's third graders worked hard on their first reading responses for this school year. They analyzed their independent reading book and decided if it was easy, just right, or challenging using characteristics they discussed as a class. We love to see this amazing learning in our classrooms!

Fourth Graders in Ms. Tinney's class learned about the history of Prosper by reading in partners.











Boyer GT students had fun participating in a team-building lesson focusing on the skills they will need in math when problem solving and working collaboratively!




Mrs. Richard’s first graders have been busy collecting data, building picture and bar graphs, and even graphing their shoes! They’re learning to sort, represent, and interpret data while making real-world connections and having a blast along the way!








Second graders in Mrs. Heaton’s class made Oobleck after learning all about properties of matter, including solids and liquids. What a fun way to learn!
