Getting Started

  • To enroll in a Prosper ISD school, a student must live within the boundaries of Prosper ISD and meet state age and health requirements. A child must be five years of age on or before September 1st to enter kindergarten and six years of age on or before September 1st to enter first grade. For our Pre-K Program, a child must meet these qualifications to attend. If you feel your child qualifies, complete the steps below.

See Prosper ISD Attendance Zone Information to determine which campus your child will attend. Please review the required documents to see the documents needed to enroll a student.

    • New to Prosper ISD: Parents/Guardians that are new to Prosper ISD click here to create an enrollment account.
*NOTE: 2023-24 INCREASED ENROLLMENT AT SPRADLEY: We want to be open and transparent about an important matter concerning Spradley Elementary, which currently has nearly 1,300 students. This number exceeds the building's capacity by a significant margin, and we must ensure that our students continue to learn in a conducive environment while prioritizing their safety.  We want to ensure that we minimize the number of students, especially our youngest learners, who are in our portable learning buildings.  As always, student safety is a critical consideration every day. In light of this, we have made the difficult decision to close enrollment at Spradley for 2023-2024. After you complete your enrollment, you will receive information about which campus your child will attend. Transportation will be provided.

    • Sibling Enrollment: Parents/Guardians that are enrolling a new student with a sibling currently attending Prosper ISD, click here and use your existing Skyward Family Access username and password.  ***Please Note: Only the Primary Guardian will have access to complete the Enrollment Application.

    • Returning to Prosper ISD: Parents/Guardians that are re-enrolling a student that has previously attended and withdrawn from a Prosper ISD school, click here.  The online system will recognize pre-existing email addresses and will prompt you with directions on how to proceed.  Please communicate that you are re-enrolling your student when the campus registrar contacts you to finalize enrollment.

2024-2025 Campuses Closing to New Students

At Prosper ISD, excellence is the standard we strive for daily, from our dedicated staff and eager students. We take immense pride in providing exceptional educational opportunities to all learners, which has led to our district being recognized as one of the fastest-growing in the nation. Last year alone, we welcomed 3,600 new students, and our total enrollment has now reached nearly 30,000 students.  With this growth comes the need for expansion to accommodate our increasing student population.  In the past few years, we have opened 6 new campuses, and in the next two years, we will open 6 more.

CAMPUSES CLOSED TO NEW STUDENT ENROLLMENT
As part of the fast growth, we have several campuses that have closed or could potentially close to new students. As of May 7, 2024 the following campuses are closed to new students.

    • Rogers Middle School

INCREASED ENROLLMENT AT ROGERS MIDDLE SCHOOL
The current enrollment at Rogers Middle School is over 1,600 students. This number exceeds the building's capacity by a significant margin, and we must ensure that our students continue to learn in a conducive environment while prioritizing their safety. We want to minimize the number of students in our portable learning buildings. As always, student safety is a critical consideration every day.

    CONSTRUCTION UPDATE
Our community overwhelmingly approved $2.7 billion for new construction, modernizations, technology, and a performing arts center in November 2024. Rogers Middle School will be modernized through this bond building program.  Phase One will include the construction of four new classrooms. These additional classrooms will increase our student capacity and should be completed by Fall 2024.  Phase two will include a new competition gym and weight room, new STEM classrooms, new specialized programs classrooms, and new dance and art rooms,  among other projects.

    ROGERS CLOSING TO NEW STUDENTS
In light of the construction and increased enrollment, we have made the difficult decision to close enrollment to new students at Rogers Middle School for the 2024-2025 school year.  All students with enrollment applications received after May 7, 2024, for the 2024-2025 school year will attend the newest middle school, Daniel L. Jones, which opens in Fall 2024.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHERE MY CHILD WILL ATTEND SCHOOL for 2024-2025?
This placement is for the 2024-25 school year only.  Your children will attend Daniel L. Jones Middle School located at 12201 Prestwick Hollow Dr, Frisco, TX 75035.  Your students will be eligible for transportation to this campus for the 2024-2025 school year.

WHERE WILL MY CHILD ATTEND SCHOOL in 2025-2026?
We intend that zoned students to Jones will be placed back at their home campus in 2025-2026. After public input, the Board of Trustees will make attendance boundary decisions in December.

    IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS
We understand that this decision may raise questions and concerns, and we want to assure you that we have carefully considered the best interests of all our students in making this choice. Our primary focus is to provide a positive, supportive, and safe learning environment for all children, and this decision is vital in achieving that goal.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to contact us. We value your partnership and collaboration in ensuring the best educational experience for your child.

Thank you for entrusting Prosper ISD with your child's education. Together, we will create a nurturing and successful learning journey for every student.
