Landowner’s Bill of Rights (Property Code, §21.0112(b)(2), as amended by HB 1495 (80th Legislature))
Requires a school district to make available, if technologically feasible, on its Internet website a landowner’s bill of rights prepared by the Attorney General.

Debt Obligation Reporting (Local Government Code, §140.008)
The 84th Legislature passed HB 1378 to increase the transparency of local government debt. Under Local Government Code § 140.008, school districts must annually compile their debt obligation data from the preceding fiscal year and post to their website.

Public Feedback on Federal Grant Applications - In accordance with federal regulations, an entity planning to submit a federal grant application must afford a reasonable opportunity for public comment on the application before it is submitted to the Texas Education Agency for approval. In the attached document are the federal grants Prosper ISD will be submitting for approval for the 2023-24 school year. Prosper ISD welcomes comments concerning any of the grants listed below

  • Title I, Part A provides supplemental resources to help schools with high concentrations of students from low-income families acquire the knowledge and skills in the state content standards and to meet the state student performance standards. (Amount: $139,436.00)

  • Title II, Part A is to increase student achievement consistent with the challenging State academic standards through improving the quality and effectiveness of teachers, principals, and other school leaders. (Amount: $249,889.00) 

  • Title III, Part A ELA aims to ensure that English learners (ELs) and immigrant students attain English proficiency and meet the same challenging State academic content and student academic achievement standards all children are expected to meet.(Amount: ELA-$222,942.00 and IMM-$65.475.00) 

  • Title IV, Part A – Student Support and Academic Enrichment (SSAEP) is to improve students’ academic achievement by providing all students with access to a well-rounded education; improve school conditions for student learning; and improve the use of technology. (Amount: $10,000.00) 

  • IDEA-B Formula provides supplemental resources to help LEAs ensure that eligible students (ages 3-21) with disabilities are provided with a free appropriate public education as required by federal statute. (Amount: $3,113,295.00) 

  • IDEA-B Preschool provides supplemental resources to help LEAs ensure that eligible students (ages 3-5) with disabilities are provided with a free appropriate public education as required by federal statute. (Amount: $14,620.00) 

  • Perkins V: Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century is to develop more fully the academic knowledge, technical and employability skills of secondary education students who enroll in CTE programs and programs of study. (Amount: $91,468.00)
