Orchestra at Rushing begins in the 6th grade and continues through high school. Students usually start as a beginner in the 6th grade, but can also start as a beginner in the 7th grade. After beginner orchestra, there are three performing ensembles: Cadet, Philharmonic, and Chamber. These orchestras are divided based on the level of the student. In orchestra, students learn to play one of the 4 string instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, or Bass.
