What a week! This past week, it was incredible seeing Children's Health Stadium lit up PURPLE and seeing so many current Raptors and future Raiders celebrating our new beginnings! If you did not make it, see below to stock up on your RHS gear. There are lots of options, the store closes December 1, and I have been told items will be received in time for holiday gift-giving.
Last week, I mentioned how proud I am of our staff for committing to working together in collaborative teams to ensure that all of our students grow while with us. This past week, our team leads (and a friend or two from their collaborative teams) came together during one of their conference periods to learn together with our district's top-notch Curriculum and Instruction coaching team. This week's focus was on fine-tuning our approach to planning for and implementing meaningful extension or intervention. You can see some pics from our learning below!
This week is a full one, and it is our last one before the Thanksgiving break! Families of 7th and 8th graders, please be sure to come tomorrow with your student to our Open House and Fall Mixer! There will be food, time to walk the building and join PTO or Guardians of the Nest, and meaningful sessions that will help you support your student's academic growth throughout the remainder of middle school and into high school.
