My vision for Prosper ISD is to ensure that every student participates in a rigorous and engaging learning experience. The true purpose of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically and then to transfer that thinking to the world beyond the walls of the classroom. In order to fulfill this purpose, we must recognize our students for the many talents they display and we must challenge each student to excel while balancing their academic success. Our students deserve the highest quality education possible in order to prepare them for success in a global, interconnected future. To achieve excellence for our students, Prosper ISD is committed to transforming the design of education while continuing a strong commitment to relationships with our students, families, and community. We are committed to continuous improvement, informed reflection, and the most powerful asset we have, the voice of our students.

Public education is the backbone of a community and one of the most valuable services our society provides. In no place is that more true than Prosper ISD. We offer a world class education and experience to each of our students, and we do it in a way that our parents can be proud of. We strive to hire the very best educators, provide excellent student support services, make sure our students are healthy and safe, communicate effectively with our community, and passionately advocate for our students. I believe working in education is a calling, and I am honored to be a part of that work in Prosper ISD.

Ms. Theresa Biggs
Chief Academic Officer
We believe in servant leadership. Our goal is to develop curriculum and support teachers to ensure academic growth and achievement for every student. We believe in honoring student interest, encouraging student voice, and developing communities of learners and a sense of belonging in every classroom across the district. Learning experiences are carefully crafted to build knowledge and skills that help students as they find effective solutions for real-world challenges; this focus on student-centered instruction leads to competencies that prepare students to meet the challenges they will encounter as adults. Prosper ISD curriculum leads to learning that does not stop at graduation, but transcends the classroom to help students become successful in any post-secondary pathway they choose.
