Makerspace

Future Ready Makerspace

The students in The Nest at PHS have access to an industrial 3D Printer, Laser cutter, microcomputers, various electronics, and a Cricut machine, among other items. These tools will be used as a means to explore their coursework and information literacy, in new and innovative ways. Teachers can team up with the Future Ready Designers to collaboratively teach all content areas adding embedded fabrication and Design Thinking experiences to bring real-world applications to all students.

Makerspace Supplies

We are very thankful to have received grants from the Prosper Education Foundation.  The grant money has gone towards purchasing the consumable supplies needed to make and create using the tools in the Makerspace.  The supplies we can provide will allow all students at Prosper High School the opportunity to explore the Makerspace both for personal and school projects.
