Do you love all things WWE/AEW/Impact/TNA, or have always been interested and want to learn more about it? If so, this is the place for you!  Besides being a space to discuss the MANY weekly shows related to this content, it’s also a place to discuss career paths into the industry. It is a multibillion dollar industry that involves MANY more positions than just the actual wrestlers. Professional wrestling has always been something of a "black sheep" in the entertainment industry, being viewed simply as "fake," and therefore not meant to be treated with even the slightest bit of sincerity. While this view is definitely softening in the present day, "fake" is simply an inaccurate representation of what happens. At its core, it is a stunt show that tells a compelling story. You can't "fake" falling 30 feet from the top of a structure!

FOUNDED IN 1926

For more than 90 years, The Quill & Scroll organization has been honoring the best work done by student journalists around the world. It is the International Honor Society for High School Journalists. Prosper High has held a charter since 1952, and the local organization began actively serving again in 2018.

Membership is open to media staff members in a chartered high school.

The annual dues include the $20 activity fee, which applicants may have already paid if they are a part of any other group or activity on campus - as well a one-time $35 initiation fee, which helps cover local outreaches, activities and awards.

When a candidate is recommended for membership, he or she pays this one-time initiation fee. The Society then provides the initiate with an official membership pin, membership certificate, and a subscription to Quill & Scroll magazine.

Members of Quill & Scroll Honor Society must be chosen from students enrolled in the high school who, at the time of their recommendation, meet the following requirements:

1. They must be of sophomore, junior or senior classification.

2. They must have the equivalent of a B grade average, or be in the upper third of their class in general scholastic standing, either for the year of their election or for the cumulative total of all high school work.

They must have done superior work in some phase of journalism or school media work. They may be staffers of a magazine, newspaper, yearbook, news organization, online site or radio/television station at the school, or one conducted by an external organization.

3. They must be recommended by the supervisor or by the committee governing the media.

4. They must be approved by the Quill & Scroll Executive Director.

5. Membership is open to all media staff members in a chartered or member high school.
