My hope is for Hays Middle School to be a place where students, teachers, and community members want to be each day. We will work to provide a safe and collaborative environment for all learners, as well as to ensure excellent teaching in every classroom. We are committed to providing students with experiences that foster academic and social growth, as well as those that allow students to feel connected and valued at school.

Here at Hays, we believe that all kids can learn at high levels. We work to ensure this by seeing each student as an individual learner, and meeting them exactly where they are not just academically, but socially and emotionally too. We help students realize their full potential by setting high standards coupled with strong structures. Lastly, we build relationships with all our students so they feel seen and supported every step of the way!

When our students leave Hays, they will be equipped with the problem-solving skills that are essential for the next steps in their educational journey. At Hays Middle School we strive to give each student a unique and engaging school experience rich with relationships and opportunities for growth.  It is my goal to serve our school community in unique ways that enrich the lives of students with exceptionalities, as well as encourage all students to reach their highest potential.  While learning is our central focus at Hays, we strive to create a culture where every student feels a sense of belonging.  I look forward to serving our school community this year as an Assistant Principal.
