Rogers MS is excited to start an annual 8th Grade Day of Service.
Our first Day of Service will be on Tuesday, May 16.
Students will attend their selected location of service with the teacher in charge and additional parent chaperones.
Parent chaperone forms may be submitted online or printed and returned to Rogers.
Each service location will have a different service project attached to it. At the Elementary School locations, students will be a “teacher assistant” for the day.
At the Myers Park, Erwin Park, and MainGait locations, students will be working outside beautifying the park, trail, or gardening. If you are at one of these locations, please bring sunscreen.
At the Grace Bridge and Frisco Family Services location, students will be organizing food bank products and getting it ready to be delivered. Students will be decorating for the “Senior Prom” at the Pioneer Ridge Center location.
Students will go online Friday, April 21 at 5 pm and choose their Day of Service location.
We hope the students will enjoy serving the community and realize we all have a duty to give back in some capacity.
There is no cost for this field trip.
Each student will need a sack lunch that includes a drink. No glass bottles please.
