We welcome student teachers and student observers who are enrolled in an accredited Educator Preparation Program (EPP). All applications must be submitted through the Prosper ISD employment website. A signed placement request from an official from the EPP is required to be uploaded with the application to ensure student affiliation. Requests for observation from individuals not affiliated with an accredited EPP will not be considered.

All prospective students are required to submit a criminal background check within the application prior to placement within the district. Once the background check has cleared, the process for placement may begin. 

We will do our best to accommodate specific placement requests. However, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to honor the request.  Due to the volume of applications received, once placements have been made, requests for changes will not be accepted.

Applications for Spring 2024 Student Observers will be accepted until March 8, 2024.

Applications for Fall 2024 Student Teachers will be accepted from March 18 - April 22, 2024.
