My vision for Cockrell Elementary is that we come together as a community of educators, families, and learners to write the stories of champions. Champions are integrous, kind, brave, and develop and maintain a growth mindset. Champions think of others as better than themselves, and encourage and lift others up. Excellence is not one act, but rather it becomes habit. Excellence in life is what we are working together to build for our children. Our clients deserve the best we have, and because of that, we are called to be the best we can be for them. At Cockrell, relationships and connections lie in the center of how we operate, and learning happens through our commitment to those intentional relationships. We listen to our students and to each other, and we respond in a way that is going to positively impact the lives of children. That is our "why". That is why we are here. We are better together, and because of the strength of the team, we write the stories of Champions!

My vision for Cockrell Elementary begins with building meaningful relationships with learners, educators, and families. When we truly know our learners as individuals, they are seen, heard, and valued. Cockrell Champions deserve a learning experience that provokes curiosity, wonder, and engagement, while also providing a safe and nurturing environment. As we write the stories of Champions together, children will always be at the forefront of purposeful learning and intentional connections.
