After having children in Prosper ISD for over 17 years, I am honored to have the opportunity to serve our district in this capacity. I am proud to be a part of a district that values educating the whole child as top priority, is continually searching for innovative ways to help our students reach their full potential and retain excellent teachers and advocates for our students and staff at the state and federal level. We have a tremendous amount of work to do in our rapidly growing district to maintain an environment that each child can thrive in and be successful in their future endeavors and I am excited to continue this work alongside Dr. Ferguson, staff and fellow board members. My goal is to insure we maintain the standard of excellence we are accustomed to in Prosper ISD for future generations to come.

My family and I moved to Prosper, TX in 2021 and chose Prosper specifically because of the school district.  Under the incredible leadership over the last decade, Prosper has become a destination district and one of the true gems of North Texas.

It is an incredible honor to be elected as a Board Trustee for Prosper ISD and it is a responsibility I take very seriously.  I will work hard every single day for the students, parents, and faculty of Prosper ISD.  I will do everything I can to ensure we continue to have the best teachers, the best academic opportunities for our children, and that our district works for every single family.  We are Prosper, We are One!

As a parent, I am thrilled with the quality of education that my children received in the Prosper Independent School District. We loved the feeling of community and care that we saw in our own children's education in our interaction with the teachers, staff, and administration. It is my strong desire to see that the district maintains this level of excellence for years to come. This will be no small feat, however, in the face of the challenges lying ahead of the district—challenges from a slowing economy and challenges from the return of the growth that we know is ahead of us someday. In both my career and my community service, I have led organizations through periods of both high growth and painful slowdown. I recognize the challenges of maintaining a culture of excellence through these turbulent times and relish the chance to be a part of the team successfully navigating the waters together.

As a son and a husband, I have spent most of my life with school teachers. My mother and my wife truly loved their time as educators and were constantly rewarded by seeing the fruits of their efforts in the lives of their students. I know too of the challenges and headaches that they often faced as part of their chosen role. I look forward to a chance to serve those like them and to do what I can to maximize the impact of their investment in the lives of our children.
